  • Right now, I'm a lead in tech support for the main internet/cable/local phone/cellular provider in the state. We literally provide services for the entire state (which is about 1/5 the size of the Lower 48 states). But I have also worked as a PC repair tech in the past.

Good ol' Andy Gribble tweeted this earlier.

This might be one of the funniest SEC basketball photos I've ever seen.

Comes from last night's Florida-Bama game in T-Town.

    Hilarious, thanks for sharing. +1lol

Did you see the pic that Dan Wetzel tweeted back to him? LOL

Wetzel, heh. Tweeted during the Super Bowl about the odds of a little guy from little Chadron State scoring a touchdown in the Super Bowl.

Well, pretty good since Don Beebe had already did that, Dan.

Shocked!--went to my sons kindergarten registration....$4510.00 later I am asking what is all that for? then the package has $150.00 for uniforms, $50.00 for gym cloths, and $100.00 per month for the after school late pick up? This I guess is more of a rant than a thought but when or where was I when school got so expensive???

Ouch! You might be getting rooked. My son goes to a hightly regarded state university down here in Georgia for less than $3,000 a semester in tuition.

  • Rocky I hear you, I thought the same thing and on Monday, Tuesday, and today I have shopped school prices. Good news that includes meals breakfast and lunch and break time goodies. Now I know there will be money opportunities laced into the year. But it is not cheap up hear!

I great up in Memphis (hold the boos!) and went to private school that was good and all but man this about knocked me out, my wife thought it was a good price?

Back to the point, this is on the low side for private Catholic schools in the area. BTW Brandon Beal from UF that came from STL that High School cost more than my all my school total. 2X,XXX per year is the stated rate but they have some student aid. So it is not so bad I guess.

  • Michael Jackson's "Thriller" album could make even waterboarding tolerable.

The absolute pinnacle of pop music. No album is a close second in this category.

When I installed car stereos for a living I would tune them all to that album. It is fantastic and a must own.

If it's Asian food that can be bought in the store or in a restaurant, I assure you I'll probably try it at some point.

I also love Mexican food, but someone — NOT NAMING NAMES — hates Mexican food.

How could anyone hate Mexican food? I could live off cheese dip, fajitas and margaritas.

I could live off of margaritas. The others stuff... meh.

We hit our favorite Mex dive at least once a week. Chips, salsa, margarritas, tacos, burritos, chalupas, fajitas, ahhh... makes me hungry just to think about it.

Great food, and amazingly cheap, too.

  • Poncho's in Memphis best cheese dip period, can get it at Kroger. I have to buy in bulk and freeze it but it is best hands down.

I prefer the white cheese dip at most hole in the wall Mexican joints.
