The only precipitation that ever falls heavily in Anchorage is the frozen kind. I'd love to see a true sustained thunderstorm up there, closest I've ever seen to that up there was about a 5 minute thunderstorm back in 2000.

Didn't eat meat until after midnight tonight — Ash Wednesday — but I heated up some of the Archer's BBQ from our remote out there today, and .... man that stuff's so good.
Y'all have to get out there and try it.
11151 Kingston Pike out in Farragut. Great ribs, wings, pulled pork, brisket, sandwiches, smoked chicken salad sandwich, Fried Green BLTs ... and a ton more.
The place has it all. And I'm not just saying that because they're proud Swain and Rucker sponsors who just signed a year-long contract. It's good eats, y'all. You won't regret going there.
Ask The Redhead. She's sleeping now, but she knows. She's had it a few times.

Sick of my ex-wife. Found out about another credit card in my name that she hid from me. We've paid over 5k to erase her from our past and it looks like we're going to be 3k in debt again thanks to her.

Another reason to move back to Tennessee: Anchorage is apparently the 5th most dangerous city in the nation...

Anchorage, Alaska - John Giuffo - Forbes

With 813 violent crimes per 100,000 residents, Anchorage has a somewhat higher crime rate than cities of comparable size, and a rate that is double the size of Alaska as a whole. It is the largest city in the state, but it also has the largest rate of forcible rape, which contributes to Anchorages rate. Methamphetamine use has been a perennial problem in Anchorage and elsewhere in the state, and although laws have been passed to limit access to the pharmaceuticals necessary to manufacture meth in the state, a steady supply of the drug is still flowing in from Mexico.

My wife's the best. Despite the car repair, computer upgrade, and finding out that my ex-wife ran up another card in my name, she's still going to let me renew the 247 subscription at the beginning of the month.
