proposing to my girlfriend tonight!

Y'all don't know very well because I'm fairly new here. Just a little over a week now on this board. But you guys are awesome, so I thought I'd share some awesome news with you.
Guys I can honestly say that I'm very nervous... I've got it all planned out and everything on how I'm gonna do it. Got her a nice ring ($$$) that I hope she loves. But when I plan something in such detail and worry about it, I usually fall on my face. I hope all goes well and she says yes! I'll keep everyone updated!

you know what... I am the same way and my plans usually fall flat on their face as well... a friend of mine gave me some great advice the day before... "don't worry about your plans, she will remember the question and you doing it."
that said, my plan worked out perfectly, and I am sure yours will as well. best of luck and keep us posted.

You will do great bro! I remember when I proposed to my fiance. I had this whole novel planned out to say to her and I had rehearsed it over and over. When it came time to propose, I forgot everything and said "babe...uh...will you marry me?" LOL and now she is my wife.
I am not telling you that to say you will mess up. You will probably do MUCH better than I did. I am telling you this to help you remember that even if by some chance you do mess up or by some chance it doesn't go EXACTLY as you have planned, she will still love it and the only memory that you will have of this wonderful time is of the moment being AWESOME!

I proposed to my wife beside a spring up in the Smoky Mountains. We had a picnic and I had planned to propose after a nice speech at the end of our lunch but I was so excited I got down on a knee as soon as we had gotten to our "spot"!
She said "yes" and we have been married 20 years this May! You will both aleays remember this day so enjoy ever minute! Good luck!!!

Good luck to you man. I'm assuming that the two of you have been in love longer than you've been on this board, and if that's the case, you shouldn't even worry about it! Make sure to hit her with a , "Go Vols!" when she says yes. She'll love that.

your problems,been hitched for 24 years,4 boys.2 grown and both has a son,got 2 left after those 2 i guess we will work on the grandchildren,the 2 i have now seems just like my first 2,hard to get use to being called grandpa ,you know you are getting some age on ya,

year half maybe 2..lol not going to ask her but i think im pretty close anyways.
