Georgia- Win( At home, they loose basically their whole defense, it's been very close the last 2 years, pull it out at Neyland)
South Carolina-Win ( They loose a lot on both sides of the ball, at home in Neyland I think we win)

Overall I think we loose no more than 5 games. I just cant see us dropping both games to Georgia and Scjr at home. Right now I think we win both but we could split those 2 and I would be happy. 8-4 isn't a crazy or unreasonable assessment. It is very doable just have to see how Butch gets this team to play. I believe this is a solid prediction. GBO fingers crossed for 12-0 haha always!

I feel like 7-5 is very much in play, however I leaning toward 8 - 4. I believe with some breaks and a good coach keeping our guys focused and believing 9 - 3 is very possible. Getting our young QB's playing well behind a veteran line will be the key. Going back to the 4 - 3 and eliminating big plays on D will be huge especially for the trip to Oregon. If our young D plays well out west I really like our chances moving forward.
Bama will be the best team we play, I'm glad we have them in Knoxville in 2014, they will be sweating the third Saturday in October once again.

Go Vols!

The players' state of mind is soooo important in the college game. There were several games we could have won last year, but the team just looked defeated and despondent. I think this is one of CBJ's greatest coaching skills...installing the belief in winning. He's already started the process with the Volympics. I'm not so brain-washed that I see 12-0, but, while improbable, I think 8-4 is possible... 7-5 probable. The talent is there. Our defense was rated something like 27th two years ago, and next-to-last last year, with the same personnel. I'll admit, I'm a homer, but I think the return to the 4-3 defense, and good coaching is going to gain us at least two more wins this year, and I'm keeping my fingers crossed for more! GBO!!!

We will go 13-0 with a NC. Ok that's a good dream I had I'd say a great year is 8-4 and I can expect 7-5

I think this is very realistic, but the loses are early in the season, which makes me nervous.

Based on board feedback, nobody seems to question that we "should" win AP, WKU, and So AL. In addition, we "could" lose Oregon, UF, and UGA. UGA seems a bit contested but bottom line, they won the East, and played in SEC championship, and we didn't qualify for a bowl game. Im calling this point in the season 3-3. Then Bye week. SOUTH CAROLINA IS THE MOST IMPORTANT GAME OF THE YEAR. We're coming off our bye week, with Bama on deck. We cannot slip to 3-5 and expect to win out at 7-5. We have depth issues and a fragile mental state. I think we will lose one game down the stretch that we are probably not suppose too, especially with injuries starting to factor in. We lose more if the kids heads aren't right.

My call: with a win against USCe we go 7-5. Without a win against USCe we go 5-7.
