I will be there to see the smallest home crowd I can remember. Seems there were some small crowds in Neyland in '77 before the stadium expansions when we were horrible and I was a Jr at UT. My season tix are in QQ but we will be sitting in D row 30 surrounded by empty seats. See you there. Go Vols and go CDD far away.

Should go just to give Bartholomew, Rivera and the other seniors a good send off. They have endured a lot during their time on the Hill.

Attendance is down all over ....
GT had 41K today
Florida had 7K empties
Miami-USF had nothing
A few things in play ....
-economy
-Easier just to stay home and enjoy the games
-Crappy late-season games. Remember when 12th game was added and ADs told us we'd be getting all these great intersectional games? Uh, nope.
Crazy, crazy year in college football on many levels.

I seem to remember hearing some stuff on attendence at NFL games similar to this, with a particular emphasis on the "it's easier/cheaper to stay at home and watch the games". It makes sense.

I've been going to UT games for 40 years, and I've been to the Kentucky game twice. Once when my parents to me to visit my sister at UT for Thanksgiving weekend in the early 70's and Fulmer's last game. Not once when I was a student and doubt I ever will again, it's just too tough to travel that weekend and easier to watch it on the tube. Plus the weather always sucks.

I think the fact that Dooley has been fired and isn't coaching the final game might bring some out who were thinking about staying home.

I think as fans we show the players that we are behind them all the way, and has this year tainted our memory! Kentucky beat us last year!!!!!!! I don't care how bad the season has been, I hate losing and especially to them.
