update on my mom's cancer

  • Back in august i asked you guys to pray for my mom. she was told she had breast cancer and that the cancer had spread to all the major lymph nodes in her chest and underarm area except one. they also found a spot on the spine. the outlook was not good and they told her she was stage 4 the day of her first scan. she began intense chemotherapy that she takes every 21 days. it makes her so sick. she has lost 43 lbs since the first treatment and physically and mentally has just been a shell of her self since the start. Monday she had her 2nd scan. the doctor called us Tuesday night with results cause she couldn't wait til the visit today! THE CANCER WAS COMPLETELY GONE FROM ALL THE LYMPH NODES! It game reduced by over 200 percent in the breast and the spot on her spine was so small that they could barely detect it! thanks to all the prayer warriors who took the time to say a prayer for a complete stranger. we serve such an awesome god and when we take something to him and completely give it to him amazing things happen. i love my mom so dearly and know she has a lot of life left. she is only 49 and has 3 grandchildren to watch grow up and i know she will. she is still facing a tough surgery and some radiation but the outlook is for full recovery. please still pray for her. thank you. praise god and go VOLS!

  • I am so glad you guys are doing better and I will continue to pray. Cancer is an awful disease and I hope they will find a cure soon to rid all cancers.

    GREAT NEWS. My wife and I both have lost several family members beside our first spouces to this terrible disease. Will offer many prayers for her to continue beating cancer.
