Just my two cents on Strong, but his Defenses at UF were just as good if not better than bama's and uf's now.

Strong is a numbers cruncher and tendancy buster. It is a very aggressive 3-3-5 that morphs into a traditional front and secondary post snap. But, a single deep free safety is almost always present. The difficulty with attacking his version is what appears unsound, morphs into a strength post snap. Thus, baiting the offensive coordinator to play to the defense strength.

For the most part, the defense will bring 5 every down. But, the offense must determine where those 5 will come from. Any combination of down lineman, linebackers, corners or safeties make up the 5 who will be coming. Again, a single very deep free safety (much deeper than any other college team I have seen) is a almost always present to eliminate the explosive play.
