It's been said early on by Butch that Worley throws to where the WR's are instead of where they are going to be in the route; so that pretty much explains why the ball is getting there late instead of in that small time window when he maybe more open..Frankly I kind of understand the concept and don't know why it's a big deal but maybe somebody could explain it better..Chaney was supposed to be a very good QB coach so it makes me wonder why he didn't fix some of that problem..
Moving forward I don't understand why this offense is so vanilla yogurt plain which makes it very predictable.. I realize it's success relies mostly on good blocking and running the ball but there aren't any DC's in the league losing sleep over their game preparation..I don't think it's the players because this style offense isn't real complicated at all..I was a big critic of Chaney tipping off plays and being predictable but looking back now Chaney's passing schemes and routes were on a NFL level but because of his confidence in Bray's arm he threw WAY too many passes over 30 yards..It's really going to be hard to win SEC games if Bajakian doesn't take the training wheels off..At this point it doesn't matter much if Bajakian doesn't believe he has the players to execute a higher level offense; we are already making boat loads of mistakes..Just turn them loose and fire both barrels because 60 yards rushing and 150 yards passing for the game is like one quarter of offensive stats for half the other teams in the SEC
